Weigh free against paid
The free option, IPTV Smarters Player, spans iOS and tvOS and covers everything most people need. Spend a little on iPlayTV or GSE Smart IPTV and you get a slightly more polished channel list. Whatever you decide, give the TiviMato and Tivimax lookalikes a wide berth.
Bring up the App Store
It waits on the Apple TV home screen, or as the blue tile on an iPhone or iPad.
Get the player installed
Search out your chosen app and install it. A neat trick on the Apple TV: kick the install off from your phone and watch it drop onto the box without touching the remote.
Enter the Xtream details
Open the app, choose the Xtream Codes path, and fill in username, password and server URL. From an iPhone, paste each value out of the WhatsApp thread — it is the surest way to keep typos out of the server line.
Check it, and lean on AirPlay
Start a channel and give it a second to settle. If a TV has no player of its own, an iPhone can AirPlay the stream onto an Apple TV or any AirPlay-ready screen nearby — no install required at the far end.
If it acts up
The list shows but one channel stays black
Certain channels use a codec Apple only handles with the right engine selected. Switch the player engine over to VLC or FFmpeg in the settings and the picture returns.

Is there an IPTV Smarters for Apple TV?
There is, free on the tvOS App Store, carrying the Xtream login, the guide, catch-up and on-demand alike. And to settle a common question: TiViMate has no Apple TV version at all, whatever the imitators in the store imply.
Can I watch on my Mac?
Three ways over: IPTV Smarters Player from the Mac App Store, your M3U link dropped into VLC or IINA, or simply the browser player. Each is spelled out on the Windows and Mac guide.
