The walkthrough, step by step
Confirm the device runs Android
Save yourself a wasted download and check this first. Apple TVs, Samsungs and LGs are out — use Smarters on those. What TiViMate wants underneath it is a Firestick, an Android box, an Android TV or a Google TV.
Get it installed
On an Android TV or Google TV it is a routine Play Store install. A Firestick, having no Play Store, needs the Downloader sideload — the Firestick guide walks that same path end to end.
Add your line
Open it, choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes login, and supply the server URL, username and password before tapping Next. Ignore any mention of M3U; you do not need that field here.
Name it, then pull the guide
Give the playlist a name you would still recognise if a second one joined it later, and let the channels and grid populate. Under Settings > TV guide, set the refresh to twelve hours; the EPG travels with your login, so there is no separate URL to track down.
Decide on Premium, then test
A common snag: Premium is not bought on the TV but inside the separate TiViMate Companion app on your phone. It costs roughly $6 a year, or a one-time lifetime licence, and a week's trial lets you sample recording and split-screen. Load a live game afterwards to confirm the guide is aligned.
If it acts up
It reports the playlist could not load
Run two checks in order: that the server address still ends in its port, and that the plan is still active. If both hold, retype the password manually — copied out of a chat, it smuggles an invisible space along roughly half the time.
The grid says no information
Force it with Settings > TV guide > Update now, then relaunch. On a big line-up, bear in mind the very first guide build can simply take longer than people tend to wait.
