The walkthrough, step by step
Match the build to the device
The source changes with the screen. Android phones and TVs pull it from the Play Store; a Firestick sideloads it via Downloader, as that guide explains; Samsung and LG carry it in-store as IPTV Smarters; Apple lists it as IPTV Smarters Player; Windows and Mac get it from the developer's site.
Choose Xtream over M3U
First launch, accept the terms, then reach for Login with Xtream Codes API. Leave M3U alone unless we tell you to use it: the Xtream route drags in the programme guide and on-demand catalogue automatically, where a raw playlist usually will not.
Key in the three values
Label the profile whatever you fancy, then enter username, password and server URL — http:// and port included — precisely as they arrived over WhatsApp. Finish with Add User.
Give the guide time to fill
It now pulls channels, films and programme data, and the grid may sit half-empty for a couple of minutes, so hold your judgement. While you wait, open Settings > EPG and enable the overlay so the guide floats over live TV.
Dial in decoding, then test
Under Settings > Player settings, put the built-in player on hardware decoding and load a channel. If a lone channel stutters while everything else is smooth, drop that one channel to software decoding from its own menu — leave the global setting be.
After the internet blips
When a connection drops and comes back, let the app breathe for a moment before assuming it broke; the router itself often needs a minute to reconnect. If your line drops often, wiring the box in over Ethernet shrugs off the blips that Wi-Fi cannot.
If it acts up
It claims the account has expired
The plan's date has simply passed — the app is fine. A quick renewal on WhatsApp reactivates the same credentials in minutes, with nothing to reinstall and no settings to redo.
Signed in, but the list is empty
Pull down to refresh, then sign out and in again. Still nothing? The server address is wrong somewhere, and nine times out of ten it is the port that was dropped.
It keeps crashing on a Firestick
Clear its cache in Settings > Applications > Manage installed applications and reopen it. If it still bails, uninstall and grab a current build — an ageing APK on newer Fire OS is almost always behind it.
